The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.We do not collect medical records from healthcare providers. However, the App allows you to enter and store self-reported health, wellbeing, symptom, medication, diary, and lifestyle routine information. This information may be considered health or sensitive personal data.
1. Information we collect or access
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect, store, or access the following categories of information.

1.1 Account and authentication informationWhen you create or use an account, we may collect and store information such as:- your email address;- your Firebase Authentication user ID;- authentication provider information;- account settings and preferences.We use Firebase Authentication to create and manage user accounts, allow you to sign in, protect your account, and associate your App data with your account.

1.2 Health, wellbeing, symptoms, medication, diary, and routine dataPD Buddy allows you to record and track information about your health, wellbeing, symptoms, medication, lifestyle, and daily routines. The information you enter is self-reported by you and may include health-related or wellbeing-related information.Depending on how you use the App, we may collect and store the following information in your account:- symptom scores, body scores, mind scores, and other subjective wellbeing ratings;- symptoms or observations that you select or enter, such as balance, constipation, cramps, dizziness, drooling, dyskinesia, insomnia, loss of smell, nausea, restless legs, sexual dysfunction, speech problems, tremor, wobble or handwriting issues, anxiety, apathy, confusion, depression, forgetfulness, tiredness, and any custom symptoms or observations you add yourself;- diary entries, notes, and other free-text information that you choose to write in the App;- medication, pill, supplement, treatment, or reminder information that you choose to create;- lifestyle and daily routine information, including whether you completed activities such as physical exercises, Pilates, walking, dancing, meditation, mindfulness, brain exercises, games, hand exercises, voice exercises, speech therapy, nutrition routines, diet-related activities, alternative therapies, listening to music, cognitive therapy, mental health routines, technology-assisted routines, foot baths, transcranial direct current stimulation, green laser, or other custom activities you add yourself.This information is entered by you directly in the App or created by you when you customize your symptoms, reminders, diary, or daily routine. We store this information in Firebase Firestore so that the App can save your history, show your trends over time, and help you understand possible relationships between your routines, symptoms, mood, and wellbeing.
1.3 Data accessed from Google Fit, Health Connect, or device health servicesWith your permission, the App may access health, fitness, or activity data from Google Fit, Health Connect, or similar Android health services. This access is optional and controlled by your device permissions.The types of data accessed may include activity, fitness, movement, exercise, or similar health-related data, depending on the permissions you grant.We use this data only to display it to you in the App and to support features you choose to use. Unless clearly stated otherwise in the App, we do not store Google Fit or Health Connect data in our Firebase Firestore database.We do not sell this data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for advertising.You can revoke the App’s access to Google Fit, Health Connect, or similar device health services at any time through your Android device settings or the relevant Google Fit or Health Connect permission settings.

1.4 App usage, device, and technical informationWe may collect technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the App, such as:- app interactions and feature usage;- crash reports, diagnostics, and performance information;- device type, operating system, app version, and language settings;- Firebase installation identifiers, notification tokens, or similar technical identifiers.We use this information to provide the App, fix errors, improve performance, maintain security, and understand how the App is used.

1.5 Information we do not intentionally collectWe do not intentionally collect medical records from doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, or other healthcare providers.We do not sell your personal data.We do not use your health, wellbeing, symptom, medication, diary, or routine data for advertising.We do not share your health data with advertisers.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the App, including to:- create and manage your account;- authenticate you and protect your account;- save and display your entries, scores, reminders, diary, symptoms, and routines;- show charts, history, trends, summaries, and progress over time;- help you compare your routines with your symptoms, mood, and wellbeing;- display Google Fit, Health Connect, or device health data when you grant permission;- generate lifestyle suggestions, summaries, or insights when you choose to use AI-powered features;- personalize the App experience based on the information you provide;- send reminders, notifications, or App-related communications that you choose to receive;- maintain, debug, secure, and improve the App;- comply with legal obligations where required.
3. Use of data for insights and AI-generated lifestyle suggestions
PD Buddy may include AI-powered features that generate summaries, insights, or personalized lifestyle suggestions based on the information you choose to provide in the App.If you choose to use AI-powered features, relevant information from your symptoms, scores, diary entries, medication or pill reminders, and daily routine may be sent to Google Firebase AI Logic, the Vertex AI Gemini API, Google Gemini, or another Google AI service used by the App to generate personalized lifestyle suggestions, summaries, or insights.These AI-generated suggestions are based on the information you provide in the App.AI-generated suggestions are for general informational and lifestyle-support purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should not rely on the App or AI-generated suggestions as a substitute for advice from a doctor, pharmacist, therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional.You should contact a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions or changing medication, treatment, exercise, diet, or therapy based on information from the App.We do not use your health, wellbeing, symptom, medication, diary, or routine data for advertising. We do not sell this data.
4. Where your data is stored
We use Google Firebase services to operate the App, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore.Firebase Authentication is used to create and manage your account.Firebase Firestore is used to store App data associated with your account, such as symptoms, scores, diary entries, routines, reminders, preferences, and other information you choose to enter.Your information may be processed by Google and Firebase as service providers that help us provide authentication, hosting, cloud storage, database, security, analytics, crash reporting, AI, and infrastructure services.
5. How we share your information
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances.

5.1 Service providersWe may share information with service providers that help us operate, host, secure, analyze, debug, and improve the App. These may include Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase AI Logic, Vertex AI Gemini API, Google Gemini, or similar service providers used to provide App functionality.These service providers process information on our behalf or as otherwise described in their own service terms and privacy documentation.

5.2 Legal reasonsWe may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, regulation, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, users, safety, security, or property.

6. Data retention
We retain your account data and App data for as long as your account remains active or as long as needed to provide the App.User-entered health, wellbeing, activity, symptom, mood, diary, medication, reminder, and routine records are retained until you delete them in the App, delete your account, or request deletion.If you delete your account or request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including your Firebase Authentication account and Firestore records linked to your user ID, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business reasons.Backups, logs, and security records may remain for a limited period after deletion before being automatically overwritten or deleted. Where information remains in backups, it is not used for active App features.Anonymized or aggregated information that no longer identifies you may be retained for analytics, security, research, product improvement, or statistical purposes.
7. How to delete your data
You can request deletion of your account and associated App data by:- using the account deletion option in the App, if available; or- contacting us at support@goodvibestechnologies.com and requesting account deletion.When requesting deletion, please contact us from the email address associated with your account so that we can verify the request.When your account is deleted, you will lose access to your account and to data associated with that account.Deleting the App from your device does not automatically delete your account or server-stored data. To delete your account and associated data, you must use the in-app deletion option or contact us using the deletion request process above.When we process an account deletion request, we aim to delete or anonymize account-associated data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business reasons.8. Your choices and controlsYou can control certain data collection and use through the App and your device settings.You may:- choose what symptoms, diary notes, medication reminders, routines, and activities you enter in the App;- add, edit, or delete certain information in the App where the App provides those controls;- revoke Google Fit, Health Connect, or similar health-service permissions through your Android device settings;- disable notifications or reminders through your device settings or App settings;- request deletion of your account and associated data.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that your information will always remain secure.
10. Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use digital services without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
11. International processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws in your country. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, through the App, or by posting an updated version of this Privacy Policy.The updated Privacy Policy will be effective when posted unless stated otherwise.
